Hello, Kokhanok!

The community is invited at the school today at 1 PM to process two caribou for the lunch program, which will also benefit our elders' lunch. The more hands we have, the quicker we can get this done!

Home of the Warlords.

Kokhanok Village (Qarr’unaq) is a federally recognized tribe located in a small, remote community on the south shore of Iliamna Lake. Kokhanok is situated 22 miles south of Iliamna, 88 miles northeast of King Salmon, and approximately 200 air miles from Anchorage. Our village is nestled adjacent to the stunning Lake Iliamna and the expansive Katmai National Park.
